\n A playful guide for those who guide others\u2014through breath mints, tarot cards, and scented self-reflection. It\u2019s self-help for the self-helped, with affirmations, ambiguity, and a touch of motivational recursion.\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

For starters you need to identify who needs to know how to write a self-help book. These people should naturally have some form of self-help to offer. It follows also that they have managed to help themselves in some manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It edges closer to inferring, on their part:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

some breakthrough some make do
some access (via regress?)
some magic some potion
some retrieved emotion
via a road less trod
and (in some manner) odd
of dreams and lost things
and the rebuilding it brings
might take intoxication
to re-wake imagination
and let inner cremations
become new creations
some new things to cherish
some old things to perish
or join and entangle
strottle and dangle
diverting a whim
with vigour and vim
some colour, some style
some summer some smile
of hips that could swivel
and all manner of drivel
could well be the manner
that a well thrown spanner
or some other such tool
might rally the fool
to whisper to those
that the fool hath chose
and smuggle a hint
within a breath mint
that within death and despair
there is laughter and care
and you really shouldn\u2019t mind it
you just have to find it<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

And it this breakthrough, that they would put to print.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well the simplest thing would be to direct them to the \u2018How To Write A Self-Help Book\u2019 section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But of course, to make a book of it, that is another thing entirely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, you could write about reading and books, explore the N-squared ways of reading a book, what in essence is a book?, how to evaluate and taxonomize, and at the same time rejuvenate and personalize the book\u2019s context, using what you could call the \u2018Wise Crack of Dawn\u2019 book reading experience, and offer tips on how to read between the lines that are between the gaps between the other lines. Include some stuff that integrates mind mapping with tarot cards, and\/or differentiates personality types wrt i-ching. Perhaps some mention of middle-perfumery could be noted along the way, ect ect ect…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
